Farmacy Program

Brock Hughes Medical Center (BHMC), the Wytheville Farmers Market (WFM) and Downtown Wytheville have been collaborating, with the common goal to improve the health of our community. In April, BHMC begins offering a Healthy Lifestyle Series at the clinic every third Wednesday from 2-3pm. These classes focus on a different health topic each month and are free and open to the public. Each participant of the class receives a “Farmacy voucher/produce prescription” that can be used to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at the Wytheville Farmers Market. The Market, located at 210 W Spring Street, is open every Saturday from 8am-12pm, May through October and every 2nd & 4th Saturday from 10am-1pm, January through April, with holiday markets during November and December.

*Classes are held the 3rd Wednesday of every month (April - September) at 2:00pm at the Brock Hughes Clinic or under the picnic shelter at the market.
